Cape Cod Bathroom

The homeowners wanted to fully renovate the only bathroom in their Cape Cod-style home, with a few key requirements: maintain the existing layout (keeping the plumbing, door, window, and radiator in place), create a predominantly white space, and stay within budget. The design and revision process took about two months. After the final layout was approved, sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of all materials took another 4 to 6 weeks. Once all items were delivered, the contractor was able to complete the project in around 8 days.

Managing lead times and project timelines was essential, especially with such a tight deadline. With the contractor’s schedule already filled before and after our project, it was crucial to have everything ready for installation to avoid delays. Thankfully, after the demo, there were only a few minor surprises, which were quickly addressed with a trip to the hardware store. From start to finish, the entire renovation took approximately 3.5 months to complete.
